Hussein Yahaya Kova,16 years old from Dodoma was living in street as one among other street children and dropout student living in Tanzania.
He was living in difficult conditions of having no access to food, education, and no place to sleep as other homeless children. He was living with his friends at Kariakoo Market,  Dar es Salaam since October 2013, until when KCC found him February 2014.

“It is difficult to live in the street and sleep outside because is very cold during night, and sometime we don’t have money to buy food which makes us to start stealing. And when citizens caught you they bit you and you might die.”

He was living in that condition which makes him depends on washing cars, carry rubbish in the market in order to have money to buy foods and other staffs.

Since 2014 when KCC  found him, Hussein’s life start improving and develop his talent in acrobatic especially Yoga, and continue with his studies.He joined primary (elementary) education at Kigamboni Primary School since we have very good partnership with them so that they allow us to bring our dropout students to continue with their studies.
